Under the Ayushman Bharat scheme, Ayushman card is being made in the district by holding village-wise camps till April 30 for Antyodaya card holders. According to the Socio Economic Census 2011, the team of Health Department under the leadership of District Implementation Unit has made more than 51 thousand cards relative to the target. Under this program, cards of 1 lakh 13 thousand 883 targeted Antyodaya families of the district will be made. In this camp, along with the health department, the successful operation of the camps is being done with the cooperation of the Kotedars and the heads.
ACMO and Nodal Officer of Ayushman Yojana, Dr. DK Srivastava informed that families of Antyodaya card holders have been included in Ayushman Bharat scheme. Ayushman card is being made for the family members of Antyodaya card holders. Free treatment facility up to Rs 5 lakh is being provided to the card holder family in a year. This treatment is available in all government and private hospitals affiliated to the scheme. Cooperation is being taken from kotdars and heads for making cards.
Ayushman cards will be made for 1.13 lakh targeted families
Under the Ayushman Yojana, under the leadership of Dr. Namita Singh, Dr. Abhishek and Sudhir Awasthi of the District Implementation Unit, the goal of making 113883 Antyodaya family cards is by organizing village-wise camps by the team of the district. Apart from this, cards of 398274 beneficiary families have been made in Barabanki since the inception of the scheme. Under the scheme, about 17,000 patients of the district have got free treatment.
Free treatment up to five lakhs
Ayushman Golden is such a card, through which any person of the country can get free treatment up to Rs 5 lakh in selected government and private hospitals under the Ayushman Bharat scheme. This golden card will be given to those poor people who will be the beneficiaries of Ayushman Bharat scheme.
