CMO Dr. Sanjeev Manglik informed that today vaccination campaign will be conducted at 67 centers in the district.
On Wednesday, 11,400 people will be vaccinated at 67 centers in Saharanpur. In urban areas, people above 45 years of age will be given the first dose at District Hospital, Nehru Market, Bajoria Inter College, Asha Modern School. While the second dose will be applied in the District Women’s Hospital.
At the same time, people in the age group of 18 to 44 will be given the first dose at District Hospital, Nehru Market, Asha Modern School, Bajoria Inter College, Urban PHC Housing and Development, Mahipura, Ashok Vihar.
CMO Dr. Sanjeev Manglik informed that vaccination campaign will be conducted at 67 centers today. In which the target of vaccination of 11,400 people has been kept. In rural areas, people will be vaccinated in CHC Gangoh, PHC pheasant, Dudhla and Salarpura, PHC Muzaffarabad and Rashtriya Vidyapeeth Chhutmalpur, PHC Biharigarh, CHC Punwarka and Haroda, CHC Rampur Maniharan.
Apart from this, PHC Pahansu, CHC Sarsawa, Chilkana and Radha Swami Satsang Bhawan Pilkhani, CHC Deoband, CHC Nagal, Health and Wellness Center Kheda Mughal, Bilaspur and Subcenter Paharpur, CHC Nakud, Gandhi Memorial School Ambehta Peer, PHC Adhyaana and Tabar, CHC Nanauta , PHC Badgaon, CHC Sadhauli Kadim, CHC Balliakhedi’s Sunheti Kharkhari Center will provide vaccine to the people.
Vaccination status in the district
The population of the district is above 40 lakhs. But so far 8,88,021 people have been vaccinated in six months. Out of which 7,50,197 have received the first dose and 1,37,824 people have received the second dose. 4,13,416 people in the age group of 18 to 44 and 2,90,208 people in the age group of 45 to 60 have got vaccinated. While 1,84,397 above 60 years of age group have been vaccinated.
