In Kanpur, the pillars of a 3-storey apartment suddenly started collapsing in Ratanlal Nagar late on Saturday night. Panic gripped the 12 families living in the apartment and people immediately vacated the apartments. The police, who reached the spot, vacated the apartment as a precaution and got it locked. Neighbors living next door have also locked the house and gone to a safe place.

Govind Nagar SHO Rohit Trivedi, who reached the spot, told that 12 families live in Deep Vatika Apartment in front of Ratanlal Nagar Indraprastha. This apartment was built in the year 2013 by Prem Chandra Pakhrani, a resident of Gandhi Nagar.
About 5 pillars built in the basement of the apartment have been cracked.

Harjinder Singh, who lives in the apartment, said that the pillars built in the apartment were completely cracked as soon as they collapsed. Due to cracking, their plaster has also come out. ACM-1, who reached the spot, informed that the apartment has been evacuated. It will be investigated.
