Corona’s havoc in Uttar Pradesh is increasing day by day. In the last 24 hours, a record 30214 new Kovid-19 have been found, with 187 deaths, the death toll in the state has gone up to 10346. At present, there are 2,42,665 active cases in the state. Once again Lucknow has the highest number of cases from other districts. There have been 5902 new cases and 21 deaths.
It is being told that at present there are 55,980 active cases in Lucknow. 14,098 infected patients have recovered and reached home. At the same time, CM Yogi Adityanath has instructed to impose NSA on black marketers of oxygen cylinders and Kovid related drugs in the state.
According to the information, CM Yogi Adityanath reviewed the situation in Lucknow Kanpur Prayagraj Varanasi, which was most affected by compassion, through video conferencing. Instructions have been given to ensure adequate arrangement of resources and medical services to be improved and there is no problem in treating patients.
Within the last 24 hours, after Lucknow, the most affected cities are Varanasi, where 2664 cases have been reported in Varanasi, 1811 in Kanpur city, 1828 in Prayagraj, 1273 cases in Meerut. Apart from this, 536 cases were reported in Gautam Buddha Nagar, 987 cases in Gorakhpur, 983 in Bareilly, 873 in Jhansi, 440 in Moradabad, 679 cases in Muzaffarnagar. The Kovid-positive CM is reviewing the condition of the four worst-affected districts of Lucknow, Kanpur, Prayagraj and Varanasi in view of the situation.
All medical colleges, institutes and medical colleges in the state will be connected to the control room for 24 hours.
Yogi has taken the initiative in view of the importance of emergency oxygen in the fight against Corona. All medical colleges, institutes and medical colleges in the state will now be closely watched. For this, a 24-hour control room is being set up in the office of Director General Medical Education and Training. Not only will the oxygen supply be monitored from the control room, but any type of requirement will be urgently addressed.
Chief Minister Yogi had recently instructed to ensure at least 36 hours of oxygen availability in hospitals in a review meeting of Team 11. On the instructions of CM, the Department of Medical Education is starting a state level control room, from which all the medical colleges, institutes and medical colleges of the state will be connected 24 hours.
The control room will update the information about oxygen on the Google sheet four times a day. Hospitals will also update information related to oxygen on Google Sheet. A Google sheet has also been prepared for the problems in the supply of oxygen, on which the hospitals will mention their problems and the control room will solve those problems immediately.

Principal Secretary Medical Education Alok Kumar said that Dr. RC Gupta has been made the nodal officer at the directorate level for the availability of oxygen for at least three days in hospitals or institutes. He will monitor oxygen supply, availability at least four times daily and ensure that there is no shortage of oxygen in any college and institute. In spite of this, if a problem is not resolved at the level of Director General, Medical Education and Training or Nodal Officer, then immediately the higher officials of the government will be apprised, so that the solution can be done as soon as possible. The availability of oxygen in hospitals is constantly being ensured.
Nodal officers will solve the problem of oxygen
Designated Nodal Officers in Medical Colleges and Institutions will ensure the availability of essential oxygen stocks for at least three days as per the requirement of the hospital. Nodal officers will be in constant contact with the control room at the directorate and will coordinate the supply of oxygen. In case of shortage of oxygen by the Nodal Officer, the Control Room and other high officials located in the Directorate will be informed immediately. The control room will also contain the numbers of the drug controller and oxygen supplier firm, which will also be shared with the respective medical colleges and institutions.
