The registration process for the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2023 will conclude on September 13 at 5 PM. This year, IIM Lucknow is hosting the CAT examination. Interested candidates have the last chance to register for CAT through the official website of the Indian Institute of Management at iimcat.ac.in.
The CAT 2023 is scheduled for November 26 this year and will be conducted in 155 cities. It will consist of three sessions, with a total duration of 120 minutes, and will be conducted as a computer-based test (CBT). Admit cards for the exam can be downloaded between October 25 to November 26 and the results of the examination are expected to be announced in the second week of January of the following year.
CAT 2023: Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria for candidates seeking admission to the CAT 2023 entrance exam are as follows:
1. Candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50 per cent marks or an equivalent CGPA.
2. Candidates belonging to reserved categories must attain a minimum of 45 per cent.
3. Students in the final year of their bachelor’s degree are eligible to apply for CAT 2023. However, if selected, they will be granted provisional admission only upon submitting the necessary certificates from their university or institution’s principal or registrar.
CAT 2023: Steps to Register
To complete the registration process, candidates can follow the steps mentioned below :
Step 1: Navigate to iimcat.ac.in, the official website of IIM CAT.
Step 2: Locate and click on the link that mentions “New Candidate Registration for CAT 2023″ on the homepage.
Step 3: Enter the required details, like the candidate’s name, date of birth, email address, country, and mobile number, and submit.
Step 4: Now, use the login credentials and fill in the application form.
Step 5: Enter all the personal and educational details and then upload the scanned copies, including the photograph and signature.
Step 6: Before submitting the application form, pay the required registration fee.
Step 7: Submit the CAT registration form and download the confirmation page for your reference.
CAT 2023: Registration Fee
According to the official notification, candidates looking to complete their CAT application are required to make an online payment. The application fee has been set at Rs 2,400 for general category candidates and Rs 1,200 for those belonging to reserved categories.
Candidates are required to possess a valid email address and mobile number for the registration process for the management entrance exam. These details must be entered into the registration link along with other required information.
