Starting today, candidates can commence their registration for the UP NEET PG mop-up round counselling on the official website — upneet.gov.in
The Directorate General of Medical Education and Training (DGMET) has recently announced the dates for the Uttar Pradesh NEET PG mop-up round. Starting today, September 18, candidates can commence their registration for the UP NEET PG mop-up round counselling on the official website — upneet.gov.in.
The registration window for UP NEET PG counselling will remain open until September 20. This mop-up round is specifically for candidates who did not secure a seat in the first or second rounds of UP NEET PG counselling.
The UP NEET PG merit list for the mop-up round will be declared on September 21. The filling of choices will be done between September 22 from 5 PM. The last date to fill UP NEET UG choices is September 25, up to 5 PM. The UP NEET PG mop-up seat allotment result will be released on September 26. Candidates will be allowed to download the allotment letter between September 27, 29, and 30.
UP NEET PG Mop Up Round 2023 Counselling: How to apply
Candidates can follow these methods to register for UP NEET PG counselling:
Step 1: Visit the official website at upneet.gov.in or dgme.up.gov.in.
Step 2: From the homepage, navigate to the UP NEET PG registration link.
Step 3: On the screen, a new page will display.
Step 4: Enter your NEET PG registration number and password.
Step 5: Complete and submit the UP NEET application form.
Step 6: Save and print the NEET PG mop-up round counselling form.
To register and progress with subsequent steps, candidates must pay the registration and security deposit fees. The registration cost for UP NEET PG is Rs 2000, with a security deposit of Rs 30,000 for government medical colleges and Rs 2 lakh for private medical and dentistry colleges. Candidates who have not been assigned a seat in the previous rounds but have already given their security amount do not have to pay for the mop-up round.
The committee conducts UP NEET PG counselling for admission to 891 MD/MS/PG Diploma and 32 MDS seats in government colleges and seats available in private colleges in the state under the 50 per cent state quota. The remaining 50 per cent of seats in government medical and dental colleges are designated for MCC’s All India Quota (AIQ) seats.
