Vicky Kaushal teaches Punjabi to Katrina: Never takes their relationship for granted, wants to do films together too

The Great Indian Family starrer actor Vicky Kaushal said that Katrina is his lady luck. During a special conversation with Dainik Bhaskar, they told how both of them keep their relationship healthy even after their busy schedules.
Vicky said, ‘There is an understanding between us. We are in the same industry, both of us understand that there is no fixed time for commuting. This does not mean that each other should be taken for granted in relationships. When there is too much work, it is important for your partner to take a break. Priority should be decided in relationships.
Vicky told that Katrina says ‘badhiya’ very sweetly in Punjabi. He said, ‘We definitely want to do a film together, but that film should not be for curiosity’s sake. We want to do films only when we really fit into those characters.
After marriage, celebrated all the festivals with family only – Vicky Kaushal
Vicky explains that after marriage, festivals have the most importance in every family for about a year. All festivals have to be celebrated with family only. We celebrated almost all festivals together like Ganesh Chaturthi, Diwali and Christmas. We give utmost value to both festivals and family.
In every festival we all get excited that now all the family members will meet.
What is the story of the film ‘The Great Indian Family’?
This is a family entertaining film. It is full of comedy, in which Vicky plays the role of Ved Vyas Tripathi. He is in love with a girl since childhood, who is Manushi Chhillar. Ved Vyas becomes Bhajan Kumar only for that girl. A big suspense is shown in the film, when Ved Vyas comes to know that he is a Muslim by birth. Ved Vyas is not able to accept this.
The film also shows good relations between Hindus and Muslims. This film has been made for Rs 40 crores.
‘The Great Indian Family’ reminded us of childhood
Vicky says that this film refreshed his childhood memories. When he was young, his mother used to have Jagrata at his place. Vicky is seen singing in this film, but he used to avoid singing in his childhood. Vicky was always afraid that someone might call him to sing a song. Vicky’s mother liked this film very much.
