Bridge Events Live Streaming For Asian Games 2023: How to Watch Bridge Events Coverage on TV And Online – News18


The bridge competitions at the 19th Asian Games will begin on September 27. The events will be hosted at the Hangzhou Qi-Yuan Chess Hall. Bridge was inducted in the Asian Games in the previous 2018 edition. A total of six bridge events – men’s pair, men’s team, women’s pair, mixed team, mixed pair and super mixed team – were on the roaster of the Jakarta Games. Only three of them will be held in the ongoing edition of the Asiad. India has sent three teams to compete at the open, mixed and ladies bridge events in Hangzhou. The finals of all three categories are scheduled for October 6.

The Indian bridge team secured three medals at the 2018 Asian Games. Pranab Bardhan and Shibhnath Sarkar finished atop the podium in the men’s pair category. The Indian men’s and the mixed teams also reached the semi-finals but ended up winning bronze in their respective events. All the medalists from the last edition will be seen in action in Hangzhou this year. The Bridge Federation of India announced the Asian Games squads on March 22 following selection trials at the Shiv Nadar Institution of Eminence in Greater Noida.
