There will be only two participants representing India in diving events at the 2023 Asian Games. All diving events will be held at the Hangzhou Olympic Sports Centre Aquatic Sports Arena starting on September 30. India will be competing in four diving events including the 3-metre synchronised platform, 1-metre springboard, 3-metre springboard and 10-metre springboard.

Herman London Singh is one of the two participants who will be representing India in three diving events at the 2023 Asian Games. He performed his training regime for the event at the Army Sports Institute in Pune. Herman is completely aware of the quality of competitors that will be coming along his way. He seems to be drawing some confidence from his silver medal triumph at the Singapore National Diving Championships in the 1-metre springboard, earlier this month.

Siddharth Bajrang Pardeshi is the second diver to represent India in two events at the Asian Games 2023. He made his international debut at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow. Siddharth has already represented India at the 2018 Asian Games in Jakarta. He will now be looking to cement his prominence with an Asian Games medal in Hangzhou.

India will be looking to make history at the event as the country’s achievement in the sport is quite limited apart from Sohan Singh and Anasuiya Prasad’s participation at the 1964 Tokyo Olympics.
