‘KGF 3’ will be announced in December: Hombale Films will invest Rs 3000 crore on films in the next 4-5 years

Hombale Films, the production company that produces films like ‘KGF’ franchise and Kantara, is also producing Prabhas starrer ‘Salaar Part 1’. The makers have recently announced the new release date of this film. The film will be released on the occasion of Christmas.
It is heard that Homble Films will invest Rs 3 thousand crores on films in the next 4 to 5 years. The company’s focus will be on Salaar and Yash starrer ‘KGF 3’.
The shooting of KGF 3 will start in the second half of next year.
Salaar this year, ‘KGF 3’ in 2025
Homble Films has even released the roadmap for the next two years. The company’s focus is to deliver one Pan India film every year. For this purpose, he is planning to release ‘Salaar’ this year and ‘KGF 3’ in 2025. The company will make an official announcement in this regard in December this year.
Shooting of KGF 3 will start in the second half next year
According to South trade experts, ‘KGF 3’ can be released on Christmas in the year 2025. That’s because its shooting will start in the second half of next year and will be completed by the end of the year. Then time will be spent in post production. In such a situation, its release date is certain to be in the second half of the year 2025 or till Christmas.
Yash will complete a film before ‘KGF 3’
Before starting the shooting of ‘KGF 3’, Yash will complete the shooting of a film from another banner. This film will be based on the dominance of the Russian mafia in Goa in the 60s. Recce of this film was going on in London. Yash was recently in London with the director’s team. He returned from there only a few days ago.
Before starting work on KGF 3, the makers will be busy on Kantara 2.
Meanwhile work will be done on ‘Kantara 2’
Meanwhile, the pan India film that the makers of ‘Salaar’ will release next year will be ‘Kantara 2’. Its shooting will also start from November. During the same time, Prabhas and Prashant Neel can also work on ‘Salar 2’.
Salar will face Dinky
Along with this, there is talk that this year on Christmas, Salaar will face Shahrukh Khan starrer ‘Dinky’. Here, the exhibitor fraternity of North is still considering ‘Dinky’ as strong in the clash of release of films.
Shahrukh’s demand is high in North
Exhibitor Vishek Chauhan, who prefers masala films in his theatres, says, ‘Since there is a total holiday of 11 days on Christmas. In such a situation, many films are being released on the same date. Of course ‘Dinky’ will get priority in the North. Prabhas’s previous films did less well in the North. In such a situation, the demand for Shahrukh is more in the North.
Experts believe that Salaar will face tough competition from Shahrukh starrer Donkey in the North.
Response will be decided after watching the trailer
However, Getty Galaxy executive director Manoj Desai and distributor Akshay Rathi say that ‘Dinky’ is a social drama. Whereas ‘Saalar’ is a pure action film. In such a situation, theaters in the North may also have to give equal number of screens to both. However, it will depend on what kind of response the trailers of both the films get.
