Two years after the passing of Ghanshyam Nayak, the beloved actor known for playing the role of OG Nattu Kaka in the iconic show Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, his memories still live on. He left a void in the hearts of fans and co-stars when he passed away after battling cancer. His on-screen chemistry and humorous interactions with Dilip Joshi’s character, Jethalal and Tanmay Vekaria’s Bagha, were a highlight of the show. Today, on his death anniversary, Tanmay paid a touching tribute to the late actor by sharing a heartfelt video featuring a collection of pictures captured on the sets of TMKOC and at various events.

Along with the video, Tanmay poured his heart out in the caption and became emotional as he revealed how much he misses the fan favourite Nattu Kaka. He wrote, “He wasn’t just a co-actor, he was a friend, father figure, he was a well-wisher, he was the one with whom I have spent more time with, almost a decade, the most loveable Chacha Bhatija duo, remembering Ghanshaym Nayak, a legend, an actor you love working with, a pure human being, 2 years of his final exit, but he’s still with us in our hearts, always and forever.”

Even fans of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah remember the contributions made by Ghanshyam Nayak in the show. His talents and on-screen antics brought laughter to countless viewers over the years.

In addition to the video and a lengthy note, Tanmay Vekaria also shared a goofy picture with the late Ghanshyam Nayak on his Instagram story and wrote, “Missing him always and forever.”

In an earlier interview with ETimes, Tanmay Vekaria aka Bagha, believed that he may never meet someone as kind and positive as Ghanshyam Nayak in his lifetime. He praised the late actor’s simplicity and claimed that he never heard him speak ill about anyone and that he always stayed positive. He added, “He was very passionate about his work. I think God had some other plans for him. I and the entire Taarak family will miss him every single day.”

Currently, Kiran Bhatt plays the character of Nattu Kaka in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah.
