OG Shark Tanks: OYO Founder Ritesh Agarwal Gives Shoutout To Bengaluru Cafes, Dosa Points – News18

OYO Rooms Founder – Ritesh Agarwal has become the youngest ‘Shark’ on the panel of Shark Tank India. Though the third season of this business reality show is yet to premiere, Ritesh has already begun hunting for entrepreneurial talent in the country. And he earnestly believes that cafes and breweries located in Bengaluru City have got what he is looking for. On Tuesday, the OYO founder gave a massive shoutout to the local eateries in the Silicon Valley of India hailing them as the “OG sharks.” Ritesh Agarwal expressed he considers himself half Bengalurian and takes great pride in ravishing the flavours offered in the city.

“Bengaluru and its many cafes, breweries, and even the legendary dosa points are the OG Shark Tanks. I consider myself part Bengalurian. Here’s me at CTR Malleshwaram, a plate of Benne Dose goes great with startup convos,” he wrote on X. The confession came along with a happy photograph of the young entrepreneur enjoying a plate of South Indian Dosa as he shared an infectious smile for the camera. Check out the picture here:

With over seventy-three thousand views, a barrage of Bengalureans attested to Ritesh’s opinion, while many highlighted that the food on his plate looked “yum.” Then there were also those who jokingly called out the businessman for not eating Dosa with Sambhar. A user commented, “Absolutely! Bengaluru’s vibrant cafe scene and iconic food spots like CTR Malleshwaram truly embody the entrepreneurial spirit. Nothing like discussing startups over a scrumptious plate of Benne Dose.”

The registration process for Shark Tank 3 kick-started in June this year and the shooting of the show has already gone on floors. However, the makers are yet to announce the release date of the upcoming season.
