Riya did Naagin dance with prisoners in jail: Celebrated after getting bail, said- wanted to give happiness to female prisoners

After the death of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput, his girlfriend actor Rhea Chakraborty had to go to jail. Sushant’s family members had accused Rhea and her brother Shovik of giving drugs to Sushant. During this period Riya spent six weeks in jail.

Now in an interview, while sharing her experiences, she said that on her last day in jail, she had done Naagin dance with her fellow female prisoners. Riya also said that in jail you are not a human being, you are just a number.

Riya was recently seen in the reality show Roadies.

Attitude towards oneself changes in jail
Riya shared her experience in the recently held India Today Conclave. He said, ‘As soon as you reach jail, your perspective about yourself changes. You become just a number. You can only do what you are asked to do.

Many women there do not even have family support
Riya further said, ‘I learned a lot from women in jail. I was an undertrial prisoner who was not convicted. Many of the women there did not have the family support that I had. However, he did not face the same media trial that happened to me.

Well, seeing those women there, I realized that there are only a few moments of happiness in life, snatch them. I also saw such women there who had worse things than me, but they were happier than me.

Brother was sad because he did not get the bail.
When Riya was asked how was her last day in jail, she said, ‘The day I got bail, my brother did not get bail and because of that I was very sad. That was the only day when I completely broke down in jail.

Earlier, I had promised my fellow prisoners present there that when I get bail, I will dance for everyone. However, at that moment I did not feel like dancing at all. But as I moved ahead, I realized that what would be the harm if I could give a moment of happiness to all these women.

And then I lived the most beautiful moment of my life. After a while we all were lying on the ground and doing the Naagin dance. The happiness I saw in the eyes of those women at that time is the happiest moment of my life so far.

Riya and Sushant were dating each other for a long time. Both were living in live-in.

Sushant died in 2020
On June 14, 2020, actor Sushant Singh Rajput committed suicide in his Mumbai flat. After his death, many serious allegations were made against Rhea Chakraborty. Both were dating each other at that time. In this matter, Riya has to face trolling till date.

Rhea was last seen in the film Chehre opposite Amitabh Bachchan and Emraan Hashmi, released in 2021. Recently she also appeared in the reality show MTV Roadies: Karma Ya Kaand.
