This innovative eatery, originally hailing from Jaipur, proudly holds the distinction of being the city’s first ‘Robot Restaurant.’ What makes it truly exceptional are its two AI-powered robot servers, named ‘Ruby’ and ‘Diva.’

Ruby and Diva are dressed in a vibrant shade of yellow. They stand out as the pioneering servers at ‘The Robot Restaurant – The Yellow House’ in Aliganj, Lucknow’s premier robotic dining establishment. These robotic servers also have the ability to engage with diners. In a polite manner, they utter the words “Please excuse me” when they encounter obstacles while navigating the restaurant. Upon successfully delivering orders to tables, they precisely say, “Your order has arrived.”

Additionally, when the customers have finished their meals, a simple press of the exit button on the left side prompts these robots to bid a gracious farewell with the words, “Have a nice meal.”

Aniket Srivastava, the mastermind behind this cutting-edge dining experience, says, “The robots operate on an Artificial Intelligence-based system meticulously crafted by our engineers. After a mere 2-3 hours of charging, they can effortlessly serve patrons for over 12 hours. Utilising a sophisticated remote sensor technique, we assign table numbers to the robots through a discreet tablet-like interface situated at the rear of these mechanical maestros. The robots then navigate seamlessly towards the designated table, relying on Google’s cutting-edge navigation technology. If any obstacle obstructs their path, these robots exhibit remarkable grace by halting instantly.”

“The response from our customers has exceeded our expectations, with patrons often queuing for tables during peak hours. Our prediction that this unique technological concept would captivate diners has been validated, especially among our younger clientele, who relish capturing selfies with our robot servers,” Ankit further added saying that the restaurant has already become a sensation.
