Tensions between Israel and Palestine continue to escalate as several disturbing visuals and photos are coming to the fore from the conflict zone. A video has gone viral on social media of an Al Jazeera reporter who can be seen taken aback when a building was bombed behind her while she was reporting live from Gaza amidst the ongoing war between Israel and the militant group Hamas.

Huge black fumes were seen rising from the building that was bombed. An Al Jazeera anchor in the studio, who was talking to the reporter when the bombing took place, requested her to “take cover”.
“Please take cover. If you are in a position to do so safely, you can explain to us what was happening. If you are not in a position to do it safely, please get to safety,” the TV anchor can be heard saying.
“No it’s okay. This is a missile attack on a Palestine tower, right in the middle of Gaza city,” the reporter can be seen replying to the anchor in a trembling voice. “Take a moment to breathe. Take a moment, you and your team,” the TV anchor further said.
Israel woke up to an unprecedented war-like situation when the ruling militant group in the Gaza Strip carried out a multi-front attack at daybreak, firing thousands of rockets as dozens of Hamas fighters infiltrated the heavily fortified border in several locations by air, land and sea and catching the country off-guard on a major Jewish holiday.
Israel launched ‘Operation Iron Swords’ in a retaliatory action.
The country’s foreign ministry said the death toll from the surprise attack by the Hamas has crossed 100.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, had, earlier in the day, declared “war” and said his country would extract an “unprecedented price” from its enemy. “Citizens of Israel, we are at war. The enemy will pay an unprecedented price. We will win this war,” the Israeli Prime Minister said.
