To everyone’s surprise, The Deadman, seemingly undead in all of his flesh, returned in the latest NXT event, donning his iconic bandana, biker outfit and riding through in a motorcycle.
Wrestling fans all over the world will be elated to know that The Deadman has risen from the ashes yet again.
WWE legend The Undertaker made a surprising return to the franchise in the latest installation of NXT, when he arrived not as the Deadman but rather as the American Badass, following Bron Breakker’s match against Carmelo Hayes.

Breakker and Hayes battled it out against each other, with Paul Heyman and John Cena in their respective corners, in the main event of the October 10 edition of NXT, in pursuit of a spot in the triple threat #1 contender match scheduled to happen next week.
In a bout which saw both superstars hurl everything they had at each other, it was ultimately Hayes who triumphed after hitting Breakker with his signature ‘Nothing but Net’ finisher.
But, the fight did not end there. A frustrated Breakker hit a celebratory Hayes with a spear after the match was over and grabbed a microphone to speak to the thousands in attendance.
Breakker went on to say, “win or lose, there’s only one badass in all of WWE”, and that is exactly when The American Bad Ass theme filled the ears of everyone in the stadium.
Although WWE never outright advertised The Undertaker for this week’s episode of NXT television, one they called the biggest of all time, they did hint at it while also teasing it out with a GONG at the end of promo videos over the past week.
And to everyone’s surprise, there he was. The Deadman, seemingly undead in all of his flesh, donning his iconic bandana, biker outfit and riding through in a motorcycle.
The Undertaker calmly made his way down and inside the ring to a bewildered Breakker and said “Bron, I’ve been watching you for a long time. And one day you’re going to be a very special talent. It’s just one thing — it ain’t today.”
Next thing you know, Breakker was hit was a huge punch and a signature chokeslam from the Undertaker.
He ended the show telling Breakker he just met the baddest ass of them all and celebrating alongside Hayes, who moves on to next week to wrestle in a top contender match for another shot at the NXT championship.
