Oppo Find N3 Flip has a smaller cover screen but big on cameras
Oppo Find N3 Flip has launched in India before its global debut and here’s what we think about the new flip device from the company.
Oppo has unveiled its third-gen flip device called the Find N3 Flip in India this week which rivals the likes of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 in the market. Oppo has grown in the foldable segment over the years and the brand decided to take it slow by launching the polished versions.
The Oppo Find N3 Flip looks to upstage the existing brands in the segment and better its own proposition by upgrading the cameras and tweaking the design. Oppo Find N3 Flip has launched at Rs 94,999 for buyers in India but there are some bank offers which bring the final price down by Rs 10,000 or so.
But coming back to the Oppo Find N3 Flip, just because it is a premium product doesn’t give Oppo the pass to focus on features that push the price lever. Having said that, bringing triple cameras on foldables does count for something.
The new Find N3 Flip from Oppo gets a 6.8-inch display in the unfolded mode, while the cover now carries a 3.2-inch AMOLED screen. Oppo is using the MediaTek Dimensity 9200 chipset with 12GB RAM and buyers in India can only pick up the 256GB storage variant. It seems like Oppo’s biggest focus was to undercut the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 pricing and they have managed to do that with the details shared by the company.
Now, let’s talk about the cameras. Oppo has used its Hasselblad tie up to offer not one or two but three versatile cameras. You have a 50MP primary sensor with OIS, a 32MP telephoto sensor and a 48MP ultrawide sensor. The Oppo flip phone packs a 4,300mAh battery and it offers 44W charging out of the box. Oppo is offering the ColorOS version which has its own quirks and yes, it still has bloatware.
