In a carpool ride with Mr. Faisu, Shivangi Joshi revealed why she has not yet stepped into the realm of video content creation despite having immense reach on social media.
Shivangi Joshi is currently seen on the Hindi television soap Barsatein – Mausam Pyaar Ka. She plays the role of a journalist named Aradhana and co-stars Kushal Tandon. The drama has become quite popular, and many of Shivangi’s fans can’t wait for new episodes. Shivangi enjoys a huge fanbase on social media. From starting with small roles to serving as the lead in a popular Star Plus show, the actress has come a long way. While the actress is a renowned face on TV and is consistently active on social media, she does not have a YouTube channel. In a recent chat, she shared why she has not yet stepped into the realm of video content creation.
Shivangi appeared on the show Long Drive with Mr. Faisu, where Faisal Shaikh takes celebrities on a drive and talks about their lives and careers. During the conversation, Faisal informed the actress about her major fan following and reach on social media. He further asked her if the reason she is not working on her YouTube channel is that the actress feels other content creators will suffer. The actress replied, “No it’s not like that, but it needs a lot of creativity and a lot of brains because people need variety, it’s not as easy as it is shown.”
Later, Faisal challenges her that if they get 30K comments on Shivangi having a YouTube channel, she must start one. Shivangi accepts the challenge and moves on to share more facts about her life.
During the chat, Faisal Shaikh also took Shivangi’s phone so that the show could go on without interference. Moreover, Faisal also informed Shivangi that she has a reach of 20 million. But the actress replied, “Firstly, I’m not aware of such things, but I feel that people watch TV and use social media, and they love me so much.” Faisal Shaikh and Shivangi Joshi had participated in Khatron Ke Khiladi 12, and the duo shared a good bond.
Barsatein, produced by Ekta Kapoor, also stars Nausheen Ali Sardar, Aradhana Sharma, Tushar Kawale, and Vimarsh Roshan, among others. Recently, Simba Nagpal also joined the team as a parallel lead, opposite Kushal Tandon and Shivangi Joshi. Shivangi rose to fame with her portrayal of Naira in the famous TV show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. She made her TV debut in 2013 with the show Khelti Hai Zindagi Aankh Micholi. Recently, she has been part of popular shows like Balika Vadhu 2, Bekabooo and the web show Jab We Matched.
