Santhosh Puthukkunnu director Kundalapuranam has been making a lot of buzz lately. The movie revolves around the story of a parched village that dries up in April, with inhabitants who are dependent on a well. The movie stars Indrans, Remya Suresh, Unni Raja and Babu Annur in the key roles.

The shooting of the movie began in Kasargod, Kerala in April and fans have been excited ever since. A puja ceremony was also held at Nileshwaram temple to mark the commencement of the shoot. As per reports, the movie was shot at various places like Chayoth, Narimalam, Kinanoor, Nileshwaram, Vazhuthareddy and Kanhangad.

To create major hype around the movie, the makers dropped the first look poster of the Kundalapuranam movie on social media. It has generated a lot of excitement amongst fans. While the short clip itself does not reveal much, it can be assumed that the movie is set against a rural backdrop, with a scene showing a young woman drawing water from the well. Indrans posted the first look on Facebook and sent his fans into a frenzy.

The caption reads, “Get Ready to Unearth the Secrets of Kundalapuranam. Unveiling the first look poster of Kundalapuranam, starring Indrans, directed by Santhosh Puthukunnu and produced by TV Anil under the banner of Menokklis Films. Soon in theatres near you, Kundalapuranam.”

The music composer of the film is Blesson Thomas. Kundalapuranam is backed by TV Anil under the banner of Menokhils Films and is scripted by Sudheesh Kumar. The movie marks director Santhosh Puthukkunnu’s second directorial. He has previously delivered an award-winning movie titled Moppala featuring Santhosh Keezhattoor.

On the other hand, Indrans is best known for his movies like Apothecary, Malik, Home, and Aalorukkam. He has worked in other films like Kaipola, Higuita, Padavettu, Eesho and more. Now, he is gearing up for his upcoming films such as Pendulum, Sthree, Mysore 150 KM, Made in Caravan, Centimeter and Ethade.
