These DIY masks will cater to the different needs of your hair.

You can try giving your hair the salon treatment it deserves, right from the comfort of your home. Here’s how.

Everyone’s hair has different requirements. Some might look for hydration, others might try to reduce their hair’s frizziness. A regular salon visit can cause a big burden on your finances and also have after-effects on your hair. Instead, you can try giving your hair the salon treatment it deserves, right from the comfort of your home. Homemade hair masks are full of essential nutrients and are easily available and affordable. Here are a few do-it-yourself (DIY) masks to suit the different needs of your hair.

A. Milk+Honey

Ingredients Required

1 cup of milk

2 tablespoons of honey

Process:

Mix milk and honey well and apply this mixture to the hair roots. Thereafter, gently massage the scalp with your fingertips and then give the hair a hot towel treatment as well for 5 minutes. You should repeat this process 3 times and after that, you can wash your hair. Performing this task twice a month can help in the repairing of damaged hair and make it stronger as well.

B. Coconut Oil+Aloe Vera Gel Hair Mask

Ingredients Required

1 tablespoon of coconut oil

3 tablespoons of aloe vera gel

Process:

Aloe vera gel and coconut oil should be mixed and then applied to the hair roots. It should be applied on your hair at night before retiring to bed. This hair mask can be kept on your hair overnight and then should be washed the next morning. Treating the hair with coconut oil and an aloe vera gel hair mask once a week will repair the hair and also reduce problems like split ends and dandruff.

C. Papaya+banana hair mask

Ingredients Required:

2 tablespoons of papaya paste

2 tablespoons of banana paste

1 Vitamin E Capsule

Process:

Mix papaya and banana paste and don’t forget to add Vitamin-E capsule to it. A paste will be formed, which then can be applied on the hair for 30 minutes. Then you should first wash the hair with water and then shampoo. Applying this homemade hair mask of papaya and banana once in 15 days is recommended, especially if your hair is dry. This can moisturise your hair and make it soft.
