Nivin Pauly To Make His OTT Debut With This Disney+Hotstar Web Series – News18

Malayalam actor Nivin Pauly has been out of the league for some time. Even though he has had massive hits in the past like Kayamkulam Kochunni, Bangalore Days and Premam, he has not had a hit in recent times. Nivin’s career suffered a dent recently with the failure of his last film, Ramachandra Boss & Co. The movie was a critical and commercial failure and tanked at the box office.

His saving grace may come from the sequel of his 2016 film Action Hero Biju, on which he is working at present. According to the latest reports, he is foraying into uncharted territory as well. Nivin is stepping into the world of digital streaming with the upcoming series, Pharma. It will stream on Disney+Hotstar. This news was announced on Wednesday.

Pharma is directed by PR Arun. He previously directed films like Finals and Rampunthanavaruthi. It is produced by Movie Mill. Rajit Kapur, a well-known actor from Hindi cinema, plays a prominent part in the show. This marks his return to the Malayalam industry after a ten-year absence. The series has a talented cast that includes Sreejith Sarang as the editor, Jakes Bejoy as the music director, and Abhinandan Ramanujam as the cinematographer.

“Really excited to be a part of Pharma and with the universe it creates. I think it’s a story that must be told and shared,” Nivin Pauly said in a statement, according to PTI. “I’m thrilled to join Pharma, which marks 25 years since I played a role in Agnisakshi. I am eager to collaborate with Kerala’s skilled team and PR Arun. I put my faith in the prepared producers and their careful research,” said Rajit Kapur in an interview. PR Arun, in a media interaction, called Pharma an amalgamation of true stories and a project that is close to his heart.

Nivin Pauly is working on Action Hero Biju 2 at present, which also has Anu Emmanuel and Joju George.
