Ranbir reacted on Alia’s lipstick statement: Said- ‘What people think is not my real image’, also gave update on Ramayana

Ranbir Kapoor’s wife Alia Bhatt had given a statement about him in an interview given a few months ago. Alia had said that Ranbir does not like her to wear lipstick and asks her to wipe it off.

After this comment went viral, Ranbir was trolled a lot on social media. Many users had even called Ranbir a toxic partner.

Now Ranbir has expressed his opinion on this matter for the first time.

Ranbir Kapoor is one of the few Bollywood actors who is less active on social media.

‘Negativity is necessary, it maintains balance’
In a live interaction with fans, Ranbir talked about facing negativity on social media. He said, ‘I am not that active on social media, so I don’t have to face all these things. But I feel negativity is very important, especially when you are an artist. Everything should be there in your life so that balance is maintained.

Ranbir further said, ‘You know that being an actor, a lot of things are written about you. A lot of opinions are formed which are not necessarily true. However, if you believe it to be even the slightest bit true then it is not me. Actually, this is my image which has been created by my characters or films or the media.

‘I can prove myself only as an actor’
Ranbir further explained, ‘This image has been created by the public. People who like my work or dislike my work are allowed to say whatever they want about me as long as they give my work a chance. I can also prove myself to him as an actor and my focus always remains there.

Ranbir had not yet given any reaction on this statement of Alia Bhatt.

Alia had given this statement
Earlier in an interview with Vogue, Alia had said, ‘Ranbir doesn’t like me wearing lipstick. Even when he was not my husband but just my boyfriend, he kept asking me to wipe it because he liked the natural color of my lips.

Nothing final yet on Ramayana
Apart from this, while talking about his future projects in the interview, Ranbir said, ‘Nothing has been finalized yet regarding Ramayana. I am very excited about this project but we are still discussing it. Yes, I am definitely going to listen to the script of Kishare Kumar biopic from Anurag Basu in October.

There is a discussion about Ramayana that Ranbir Kapoor can be seen in the role of Ram, Sai Pallavi Sita and Yash Ravana. It will be directed by director Nitesh Tiwari.

Alia and Ranbir got married only last year. The two have a daughter named Raha, who will turn one on November 6. Ranbir’s next film is Animal. It is scheduled to release in theaters on December 1.
