Pearl wanted to commit suicide in jail: He was arrested on rape charges, was also in depression, mother and friends took care of him

Actor Pearl V Puri has talked about the worst phase of his life. He told that he had to stay in jail for 14 days. Somehow he had spent 10 days in jail but was finding it difficult to spend the 11th day. Frustrated with the situation, he had thought of committing suicide. But his father’s feelings stopped him from doing so.

In 2021, Pearl was arrested for raping a minor girl. He was sent to judicial custody for 14 days.

Pearl is in the news these days because of the film Yaariyan 2. Talking about the film, he told that his screen time was long in the script. But during the edit, the makers had reduced many of them.

Fed up with the situation, thought of committing suicide
Recently, in an interview given to Siddharth Kanan, Pearl V Puri has revealed about the worst moment of her life. He said- I die every day in jail. I can’t even tell. On the 11th day, I had a pen, and I had seen in the movie that suicide can be done with a pen. I knew this happens. On the 11th day I had decided that this was going to happen. This was also the time when father passed away. Mother was also very ill. I didn’t even know what their situation would be like outside. I didn’t even realize what I was doing.

He further told that during his jail days, he had read Hanuman Chalisa 108 times. It was only after this that he thought of committing suicide because even this did not improve the situation. Pearl had the pen because he had told the jailer that he used to write. But his only intention was to commit suicide. However, later his father’s realization stopped him from doing so.

He said- I was near the jail window, then I felt that Papa was standing below wearing a pink shirt. The feeling of being near him gave me courage and left me thinking of suicide.

Pearl started her acting career from television. He was also seen in the famous show Naagin 3. Then he turned to films.

Pearl told that this period was the worst moment of her life. He lost his maternal grandmother just a few months later. Only 17 days had passed since father also passed away. On the other hand, it was found out that the mother had cancer. This whole phase was like a nightmare.

All these things made Pearl a victim of depression. The situation became such that he locked himself in his room for 2 months. However, the support of his mother and friends kept him going.
