The film ’12th Fail’ has been released today.
Vidhu Vinod Chopra has returned to direction with the film 12th Fail. Vidhu Vinod Chopra has spent a long time of four years in making this film. Vidhu Vinod Chopra exclusively told Dainik Bhaskar that he is not in a hurry to do any work. Perhaps this is why it took so much time to make this film.
He also talked about the film’s lead actor Vikrant Massey. Vidhu said that to make the character seem real, Vikrant went to a village and stayed for a month. His face was burnt due to this.
Rehearsed with actors for a year, story was written 100 to 200 times
Vidhu said- I had prepared at least 100-200 drafts before making this film. If you see my room, you will see it full of files. This story has been written not once but 100-200 times. Rehearsed only with actors for a year.
I myself have made this film, but when I saw it for the first time, I could not stop my tears. I was relating my life to this film. This is my story only. This film is not about any one person, millions of people can relate to it.
This film has been released today i.e. 27th October.
Vikrant Massey stayed in the village for a month to make the character seem real.
On working with Vikrant Massey, Vidhu said – People call me crazy that instead of working on the sequel of Munnabhai and 3 Idiots, I worked on a film like 12th Pass. That’s my way of working though. See for yourself, what a great job Vikrant Massey has done in this film.
To perfect his role, he lived in a village for a month. He must be looking quite dark in the film. Not that she wore any makeup. His face got burnt after being in the sun, perhaps that is why his acting and look looked completely natural.
Vikrant Massey has returned to the silver screen through this film.
The story is based on real life
This film is based on writer Anurag Pathak’s book ’12th Fail’. The title of the film has also remained the same. This film is inspired by the real life of IPS Manoj Kumar Sharma. Manoj Kumar Sharma (Vikrant Massey), who lives in a small village in the Chambal area of Madhya Pradesh, dreams of somehow cheating and passing 12th so that he can get a job as a peon, but then something like this happens in his life. Due to which its goal itself changes.
