Bollywood actor Angad Bedi has started his international sports career with the Open International Masters 2023 Athletics Championship held in Dubai. In the event, he won the gold medal in the 400 meter race.
Angad has dedicated this medal to his father, cricket legend Bishan Singh Bedi, who died on 23 October. He breathed his last at the age of 77 after battling a long illness.
Angad shared this information with his fans through a social media post. He shared a video and said that he has won his first international medal.

While sharing the video, Angad wrote, ‘Neither my heart was ready to accept nor I had the courage. Neither was my body ready nor was there any force on my mind that pulled me up.
It was neither my best time nor in good form, somehow I did it. This gold medal will always be special. Thank you Papa for being with me.. I miss you.. your son.
While sharing a post before the race, Angad had written – ‘Stay with me, Papa..’

Along with this, Angad also thanked his coach and wife Neha Dhupia. The actor wrote, ‘Thanks also to my coach who stayed with me throughout this journey.
Thanks to my doctor and thanks to my wife Neha Dhupia for tolerating me… you had no other choice. To children Meher and Gurik… I want to run with both of you.
