Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh made their first public appearance on Tuesday night days after getting trolled for their Koffee With Karan episode. The Bollywood couple was snapped by the paparazzi as they attended the launch of Jio World Plaza.

In a video that surfaced on social media, DeepVeer were seen twinning in black as they made a stylish appearance at the star-studded event. Deepika sported an off-shoulder, body-hugging black shiny outfit and looked as breathtakingly gorgeous as ever. On the other hand, Ranveer looked dapper as he ditched his shirt and sported a black blazer with matching pants. Check out the video here:

Last week, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh graced the first episode of Koffee With Karan Season 8. During their chat with the host Karan Johar, the Pathaan actress hinted that the two were in an open relationship initially. “I wanted to be single for a while because I had come from difficult relationships. I was going through a phase where I said ‘I just don’t want to be attached, don’t want to be committed’. And I had fun! And then he came along, so I didn’t commit, until he proposed to me. There was no commitment as such. Even if we were technically allowed to see other people, we would just keep coming back to each other,” she said.

This left many wondering if Ranveer and Deepika were in a ‘situationship’ initially. The duo were also trolled by many for the same.

On Monday, Congress leader Supriya Shrinate also came out in support of Deepika amid the trolling. She took to her X handle and questioned all those who are criticising Deepika for talking openly about her relationships in Karan Johar’s show. Shrinate lashed out at those spreading ‘vulgar memes’ against Deepika.
