The first season of Scam-2003 was the story of Abdul Karim Telgi becoming the mastermind of India’s biggest stamp scam. So season 2 is the story of his downfall. The last five episodes are based on how Abdul Karim Telgi reached the floor after getting trapped in the political maze.

In the new season, Abdul’s family life and the cracks in it have been told. The web series ‘Scam 2003’ has been adapted from the book ‘Reporter Ki Diary’ written by journalist Sanjay Singh.

Based on the life of Abdul Karim Telgi, a fruit seller born in Khanapur, Karnataka, the series shows the journey of becoming the mastermind of the biggest scam in India. This scam, spread in many states, shocked the entire country.

How is the acting?
Gagan Dev Riyar has lived the character of Abdul Telgi. It seems that we are seeing Abdul Karim Telgi on the screen. Bhojpuri star and MP Nirahua has also emerged as a surprise element in this series. The rest of the supporting actors have done a decent job.

How is the direction?
This series of Hansal Mehta has been directed by Saand Ki Aand fame director Tushar Hiranandani. He has presented the story of Abdul Karim Telgi very well without glorifying it. However, there are some flaws in the screenplay, due to which some scenes appear boring. Dialogues could have been improved a bit.

The background music of the series gives a thrill whenever it comes.
