Chittaranjan Locomotive Works, the biggest loco production unit in West Bengal, has issued a notification for recruiting PGT (Post-graduate Teacher) and PRT (Primary Teacher) teachers at railway schools. The recruitment will be done via a walk-in interview for the interested candidates. The applicants can visit the official website of Indian Railway CLW, clw.indianrailways.gov.in for other details. Important Dates
Interviews for the PGT and PRT positions will start on November 22, 23, and 24, 2023 from 11 AM in the Administrative Meeting Room, Office of GM CLW/Chittaranjan.
Qualifications
1. The candidates should have obtained a Master’s degree from any recognised university.
2. The applicants should have also obtained at least 50% marks in aggregate in the subject for which they are applying for.
Age Limit
The age of the candidate should be less than 65 years.
Salary
The teachers of all subjects, except computer education, will be provided a consolidated monthly salary of Rs 27,500. On the other hand, the faculty of Computer Education would be provided a monthly salary of Rs 21,500.
Selection procedure
The selection process for the PGT and PRT teachers includes an interview and a medical examination. Those applying for the post of part-time teacher will have to undergo a medical examination (Medical Standard-CEE-II, C-2) before they join the job. This fitness test will be conducted to test his required ability to perform the work assigned to him. In case the candidates are not able to clear the medical test, their recruitment will be cancelled.
