Actress Tara Sutaria will be seen in the film ‘Apoorva’. According to her, through this film she will be able to truly showcase her acting talent to the audience. Recently, during a special conversation with Dainik Bhaskar, Tara shared some things related to this film. While talking, she told that the scenes of the film were so intense that at one time she started crying while sitting on the road. Let us know what he said:
Whatever desires I had regarding acting now seem to be fulfilled through this film?
Finally I am getting a chance to do such an intense role. I am both nervous and excited about this film. For the first time, I will be seen playing a role which I wanted to do for the last many years. Whatever desires I had regarding acting now seem to be fulfilled through this film, which I will be able to share with the audience. Now people will get to see my acting skills. Whatever we have shown in the trailer so far is very little. We deliberately showed less, but there are a lot of things in the film. I’m excited to see people’s reaction to what wasn’t shown.
I got goosebumps when I heard the story of the film for the first time.
The level of every character associated with the film is very big. You will get to see this level till the end of the film. I remember when Nikhil sir (director Nikhil Nagesh Bhatt) told me the story of this film for the first time, I got goosebumps. I wanted to be a part of this film in any way. The entire team watched this film recently. The film has been made exactly as expected. This is a year’s hard work of our entire team, made with great dedication. I am just hoping that people also like it.
Didn’t do much rehearsal so that it looked natural
I accepted this character immediately. There was a lot to learn in my character ‘Apoorva’. Before shooting, we did several workshops. I learned to drive an SUV car, which is a matter of great pride for me. We didn’t do much preparation for the action because we wanted it to look natural. Actually, we did not rehearse much for this film so that it looked natural. But, we shot in an isolated haunted desert in Jaisalmer. It was a very difficult and interesting journey because the weather there was very bad and we had to do action scenes in such conditions. Every day we had to give action shots which was not easy.
Even after the scene was over, I was crying sitting on the road
There are many emotional scenes as well as many powerful moments in the film. I remember, for one scene we were shooting outside the bus. On the very first day we were shooting very strong and powerful scenes. The scene ended but for almost half an hour, I was sitting on the same road and crying. Actually, that was a very painful moment for ‘Apoorva’ in the scene, which became very difficult for me to shoot.
Filmmakers, writers, producers, directors should see me in such a way that I can do such films.
My wish is that now I get offered strong and powerful roles. I was waiting for this kind of film for many years which has now been completed. I hope that now filmmakers, writers, producers, directors see me in such a way that I can do such films. Desire to do more films like ‘Apoorva’.
Vidya Balan’s ‘Tumhari Sulu’ was very good
Although there are many films, but among all these, I like women-oriented films like ‘NH10’, ‘Gone Girl’ very much. Especially, Vidya ma’am did a very good job in ‘Tumhari Sulu’.
