Due to the good story and excellent acting of the film, the first week collection reached around Rs 13 crore. The film has earned Rs 16 crore in just 9 days due to good reviews from the audience and critics. It is being estimated that this film can earn up to Rs 21 crore in the coming days. Recently the success party of the film was organized in Mumbai. The center of this party was IPS officer Manoj Sharma (on whom the film is made) and his wife Shraddha Joshi. B-Town celebs were also spotted here. Vidya Balan, Vikrant Massey, director Vidhu Vinod Chopra, Sarita Joshi and other stars were also seen. The story of becoming a hero from zero has been shown very well in the film. The film is based on the bestseller book ’12th Fail’ written on the life of IPS officer Manoj Sharma.
