Ranbir Kapoor wanted to stop Koffee with Karan show: Said- He earns money from us, but we grind throughout the year

The 8th season of Karan Johar’s chat show Koffee with Karan is in the news these days. Deepika, who came on the show, got trolled due to her statement, while Sara Ali Khan hinted at the relationship between Ananya and Aditya Roy Kapoor in the show. Meanwhile, an old interview of Ranbir Kapoor is going viral, in which he is seen saying that he wants to stop Koffee with Karan.

Ranbir’s video going viral is from AIB Podcast, in which he had come to talk about the film Jagga Jasoos. During the conversation, Tanmay Bhatt asked Ranbir whether he was tired of the show Koffee with Karan. On this Ranbir said, I’m really tired. Me and Anushka were being forcefully invited this year (2017), but we did not go. We wanted to protest against the show. We wanted to gather the entire film industry together to shut down the show. This show is not fair at all.

Ranbir further said, He (Karan Johar) is earning money through us. We come to shows and grind throughout the year. This is not right at all.

Ranbir reached Koffee with Karan with Ranveer Singh in 2016.

Further Tanmay Bhatt asked him what was contained in the hampers found in the show. In response to this he said, Nothing. We don’t get anything. Only iPhone is available every year.

The first episode of Koffee with Karan 8 was in controversy

This season’s first guests Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are in the headlines. Actually, in the show, Deepika talked about her past relationships and said that apart from Ranveer, she was dating some people too, but mentally she was committed to Ranveer. As soon as his statement came out, people started trolling him fiercely.

Sara gave a hint on Ananya-Aditya’s relationship in the show

Ananya Pandey and Sara Ali Khan had reached the third episode of the show. During the conversation, Karan asked Sara what does Ananya have that she does not have. In response he said, A Night Manager (Aditya Roy Kapur played the lead role in it). Karan further asked Ananya whether she was being misled in love (in which Aditya was in the lead role). On this Ananya said, Aashiqui (Aditya’s film) is like this.

Sonam Kapoor came into headlines by calling Ranbir Kapoor as Mamma’s boy. After this, Kareena Kapoor called Katrina Kaif as sister-in-law in the show, when Ranbir was dating her. Cricketers Hardik Pandya and KL Rahul have also been embroiled in controversies from the show.
