On the day of Diwali, Bollywood celebs took to their social media to wish everyone on the festival of lights.
Bollywood celebrities are celebrating this Diwali season with utmost gusto and festive cheer. With a different Diwali party keeping them busy every night, our favourite celebs are commemorating this festive season by dressing up to the nines and having a gala time with their friends. Amid this cheerful season, Bollywood celebs filled our social media feeds with wholesome Diwali wishes. From Kiara Advani to Arjun Kapoor, everyone conveyed their best wishes.
Priyanka Chopra shared a picture of a burning Diya, which was surrounded by saffron Marigold flower. She wrote, “Let there always be light (with diya and finger heart emojis). Happy Diwali!”
Karan Johar dropped a photo album from his Sharma office. The Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani film-maker looked regal in a white Kurta along with his kids Yash and Roohi, performing the Diwali Aarti. Sanjay Dutt shared a family picture with wife Maanyata Dutt and kids Iqra Dutt and Shahraan Dutt. He wrote, “Embracing the warmth of lights and the glow of togetherness with my family. Wishing you all a Diwali filled with love, laughter, and countless moments of joy. Grateful for the light you bring into my life. Happy Diwali from our family to yours!”
Athiya Shetty also posted a number of Diwali snaps on her Instagram stories. It consisted of the Diwali wish and a clip of Suniel Shetty presumably adjusting light fixtures on a plant at his house.
Diwali is a grand festival celebrated in India. It spans five days which include Dhanteras, Chhoti Diwali (Narak Chaturdashi), Diwali, Govardhan Puja, and Bhai Dooj. Being celebrated today on November 12, Diwali is the special occasion when people worship Lord Ganesh and Goddess Lakshmi and perform Shri Ganesh-Lakshmi Pujan. The puja is conducted in the evening during the auspicious muhurta to welcome Goddess Lakshmi into one’s home.
