The shooting of the film Goliyon Ki Raasleela: Ramleela started in 2012. While talking to Huffington Post, a crew member of the film, on the condition of anonymity, has witnessed the chemistry between the two on the set. According to the crew member, in 2012, the song Ang Laga De was to be shot on the sets of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film Goliyon Ki Raasleela: Ramleela.

Both of them had to give a kissing scene at the end of the song. The scene started and both of them kissed. As soon as the shot was okayed and director Sanjay Leela Bhansali said cut, both of them continued kissing. Around 50 people were present on the set during the shooting, who were surprised to see this. Only after this scene, both of them came closer and started spending more and more time with each other.

During the shooting of the film, people got confirmation on their relationship when both of them started calling each other baby on the set. Whenever there was no shooting, both of them used to spend hours in the vanity van. According to the crew member, people considered it an attraction.
