Kavita Khanna, former MP and wife of late actor Vinod Khanna, reached Gurdaspur with her foreign friends on Friday. Vinod Khanna was a two-time MP from Gurdaspur Lok Sabha seat on BJP ticket. After the death of Vinod Khanna, Kavita Khanna was a contender for BJP ticket from Gurdaspur seat in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, but the party fielded Sunny Deol in her place.
