The date was changed from November 23 to November 25.

Earlier in the day, Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot issued the Congress manifesto, pledging a caste survey if the party wins re-election in the upcoming assembly elections. In its election campaign, the Congress also pledged a new system for panchayat recruitment as well as other social programmes. Ashok Gehlot has announced ‘seven guarantees’ or pledges to the people of Rajasthan if the Congress is re-elected in the forthcoming elections on November 25.

Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge and former Deputy Chief Minister Sachin Pilot were also present at the state party office in Jaipur to launch the manifesto, dubbed “Jan Ghoshna Patra.”
