Chiranjeevi Condemns Mansoor Ali Khan’s Remarks On Trisha; Internet Shares Old Video And Trolls Him – News18

Mansoor had talked about missing the opportunity to share a bedroom scene with Trisha.

The users have dug out a 3-month-old video of the actor who was in a promotional event of Bholaa Shankar where he was seen with Keerthy Suresh.

Actor Mansoor Ali Khan’s distasteful remark about Leo’s co-star actress Trisha Krishnan has drawn criticisms from all quarters. Telugu actor Chiranjeevi on Tuesday also condemned the same. The Waltair Veerayya actor wrote on X and called Mansoor out for his “disgusting” comments about the South actress.

He tweeted, “My attention was drawn to some reprehensible comments made by actor Mansoor Ali Khan about Trisha. The comments are distasteful and disgusting not just for an artist but for any woman or girl. These comments must be condemned in the strongest words. They reek of perversion. I stand with Trisha Krishnan and every woman who has to be subject to such horrid comments.”

However, the micro-blogging site users have trolled Chiranjeevi extensively for some old incidents. The users have dug out a 3-month-old video of the actor who was in a promotional event of Bholaa Shankar where he was seen with Keerthy Suresh.

In a video from that time, Chiranjeevi is heard speaking at the promotional event where he said that he can’t accept a beautiful girl like Keerthy Suresh calling him Anna. “I told Keerthy Suresh to stop calling me Anna with one film,” he added.

“Chiranjeevi condemns Mansoor Ali Khan and supports Trisha meanwhile Chiranjeevi on Bhola Shankar event,” the tweet reads.

The trolls also shared another clip from the same promotional event, where Chiranjeevi lends his hand to Keerthy Suresh who lovingly grabs his arm. “Chiranjeevi teaching us how to respect actress,” the text read in the tweet.

In a recent interview, Mansoor talked about missing the opportunity to share a “bedroom scene” with Trisha. He also added that he has done his share of “rape scenes”. His comments received a major backlash on social media.

Trisha also slammed Mansoor Ali Khan for his vile comments. In the long penned note, the actress said that she found the comment “sexist, disrespectful, misogynistic, repulsive and in bad taste”.”He can keep wishing but I am grateful never to have shared screen space with someone as pathetic as him and I will make sure it never happens for the rest of my film career as well,” she added.

Mansoor Ali Khan, meanwhile had to apologise for his rape comment made about Trisha. He said that his statement was misconstrued and that he would not apologise for the statement. This came hours before an FIR was registered against him.
