California resident Edgar Yudkevich recently broke the world record for the longest distance covered on a slackline while juggling three knives.

According to a report by Guinness World Records (GWR), the slackline used for this daring attempt measured 34.4 feet and was suspended one meter above the ground. The record-keeping organisation further shared that Edgar Yudkevich, an experienced slackliner, and juggler with over 12 years of practice, showcased his impressive skills in a performance that left spectators in awe. Edgar Yudkevich, who regularly engages in unconventional feats as part of his circus artistry, expressed his comfort in performing acts that may seem perplexing to others but, to him, are executed safely. Reflecting on his achievement, the skilled performer shared his sentiments with Guinness World Records, stating, “The day that I attempted this record was on World Circus Day and there was a community gathering of circus artists in Coronado, California. Because I am constantly training as a circus artist, I regularly do feats that others don’t understand, but that I feel are quite safe performing.”

“I felt like I’ve finally accomplished a bucket list item. It’s something to remember for many years,” Edgar said after achieving the world record. Looking ahead, he expressed his desire to surpass his own record in the future, driven by the motivation to push his limits and inspire fellow circus enthusiasts. “I will definitely attempt another record in the future just to push my limits and to inspire my circus friends,” he affirmed.
