Be it an instant fix to our evening hunger pangs or the midnight saviour of a hungry hosteller — Maggi instant noodles solve the problem of all. This universal food has become a staple in Indian households, especially among students because of its easy-to-make process and delicious taste. But over time, Maggi’s cult status has paved the way for many food experiments. From Maggi omelettes to Maggi samosas — the list of culinary fusions involving this noodle brand goes on and on. While some have made food lovers excited, others have earned their ire. On that note, a unique recipe called Maggi Burger has now grabbed the eyeballs of the masses.

The video demonstrating how to make a Maggi Burger was dropped on Instagram, giving viewers an insight into the detailed step-by-step process. In the first step, a tablespoon of oil is poured into two areas inside a pan. Next, two boiled Maggi noodles are put in the oil-laden areas and pressed gently with a cooking spatula until they turn golden-brown in colour.

Pizza sauce dressing is then spilled into one of the golden-brown Maggi noodles. An additional layer of three cucumber slices, a tomato slice, and an aloo tikki bun is placed on top of the other. The ingredients are finally topped off with mayonnaise or cheese, and the other Maggi noodles are laid on top of the former mixture. With Maggi Burger being ready the food is ready to be served.

Soon after the video surfaced on the internet, a certain section of people appreciated the food while another section was displeased for tampering with Maggi. ‘Wwoow it’s soo tasty,” wrote a user. “That’s so good” agreed another. An individual tried to justify that there was “nothing wrong” with making Maggi Burgers as the “bun and Maggie both contain maida (flour).”

Begging to differ, a health-conscious person opined, “This needs to stop. We already have skinny fat genetics and on top of that these unhealthy carbs. Instead, we should be focusing on protein-dense snacks.” Taking a critical dig at the Maggi Burger dish someone else wanted to know, “Does cooking mean experimenting with anything and everything?”

So far, the video has amassed over 3,20,000 views on Instagram and counting. Would you like to try this Maggi Burger?
