Vijay Deverakonda is winning hearts across the internet and how! The actor recently celebrated his personal assistant’s birthday, and several pictures from the same have gone viral. Vijay’s sweet and thoughtful gesture has touched many.

The photos featured Vijay and his assistant engaged in a conversation during the cake cutting ceremony. The celebration happened inside their vanity van. The assistant also fed him a piece and then the duo shared a warm hug.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Vijay Deverakonda will soon be seen in Family Star. He has also begun shooting for the same. Reportedly, his rumoured girlfriend Rashmika Mandanna will also be a part of the film.

Family Star is directed by Parasuram. The movie marks the second collaboration between the actor and director after the superhit film Geetha Govindham. Family Star is said to be an Indian-romantic family drama movie produced by Dil Raju and Sirish under the banner of Sri Venkateswara Creations. The film stars Vijay Deverakonda, Mrunal Thakur, and Divyansha Kaushik in the lead roles.

The music for the movie is said to be composed by Gopi Sundar, with cinematography by KU Mohanan and editing by Marthand K Venkatesh.

Initially, Family Star was expected to be released theatrically on January 14, 2024, coinciding with Sankranti, but later it got postponed to February 2024. Reports suggest it will be released in Telugu and Tamil.

Vijay Deverakonda redeemed himself after last year’s Liger debacle, with his latest film Kushi that released earlier this year. The movie, which also stars Samantha Ruth Prabhu, did good business at the box office and has been streaming on Netflix since October 1. This is good news for Vijay Deverakonda, as he faced a double whammy with both Liger’s failure and the shelving of the big budget film, Jana Gana Mana. The movie was supposed to be directed by Liger director Puri Jagannadh. It got shelved after some portions were shot, due to their previous collaboration Liger failing.
