What is the story of the film?
The story of the film revolves around a father-son relationship. Ranvijay Singh i.e. Ranbir Kapoor’s father Balveer Singh (Anil Kapoor) is a well-known business tycoon of the country. Due to his busy life, Balveer Singh is unable to give time to his son Ranvijay. Because of this, there is always a pang in Ranvijay’s mind.
There is an upheaval in his life when Balveer Singh is shot at. Ranvijay declares war to avenge his father. In this war, he meets people who were associated with Balveer Singh at some point of time or the other.
Ranvijay Singh sets out to find his father’s attackers. Many obstacles come in his way. Whether Ranvijay Singh is able to take revenge by overcoming these obstacles or not, the storyline moves forward on this.
The film has been released on more than 4000 screens.
How is the direction?
Sandeep Reddy Vanga has once again done the work for which he is known. Killing and disturbing scenes are shown in the film from beginning to end. Sandeep Reddy Vanga has tried to show here something similar to the level of violence shown in Hollywood films.
His direction as per the story is amazing. He has kept the story engaging from beginning to end. Your mouth may remain open watching the sequence before the interval. The first sequence of the second half is definitely a bit slow. Some dialogues and scenes of Rashmika Mandanna could have been trimmed. However, the real surprise will be seen in the climax.
Sandeep Reddy Vanga is generally known for making violent films. In Animal also he has created a different world of violence.
How is the acting of the star cast?
There is no doubt that Ranbir Kapoor’s never seen action avatar has been seen in the film. He has proved why he is counted among the most talented actors of this generation.
From a young boy to an elderly man, he has played the role very well with variety. Ranbir has appeared in such a violent form for the first time. There are some scenes which may even scare you after seeing them. Ranbir was already an expert in romance and drama, but in this film he proved that he is no less than anyone in action. The action scenes are not what can be called ordinary.
Bobby Deol has given his all in a small role. As long as he remains on the screen, he creates a completely different atmosphere.
Looking at Bobby’s small role, only one thing comes to mind that his screen time should have been more. Rashmika Mandanna has also played the role of Ranbir’s wife well. As always, Anil Kapoor has been successful in showing his screen presence. Trupti Dimri has also emerged as a surprise element in the film. His role may be important if the next part is made.
Bambi Deol’s work at this stage of his career is worthy of praise. The face-off between her and Ranbir Kapoor in the film can give goosebumps.
How are the songs?
The songs of the film are suitable for every sequence. Especially ‘Sab Kuch Bhula Denge’ in the voice of B Praak and ‘Arjan Valley’ in the voice of Bhupinder Babbal have suited the scenes of the film. These songs playing in the background of the action sequences will create a thrill in you.
positive point of the film
Ranbir Kapoor’s character is undoubtedly the biggest positive point of this film. Apart from this, Bobby Deol’s acting, screenplay, music and direction of the film also makes it special. Apart from this, the climax of the film and the sequence after that is the biggest positive point.
In a scene of the film, Ranbir Kapoor was seen firing indiscriminate bullets using a Monster War machine gun. This is Made in India stuff. This monster machine gun has been made in a workshop located in Andheri, Mumbai.
Negative point of the film
The abundance of Punjabi and English dialogues can be irritating. Rashmika Mandanna’s character did not seem effective in the first half. Excessive violence has been shown in some scenes.
Final Verdict – Watch or not?
If you want to experience a different kind of action film. If you want to watch a larger than life action drama film made by Ranbir Kapoor and Sandeep Reddy Vanga, then you can go for it without hesitation. If you take the film as a film, then from entertainment point of view you can definitely go for it once. However, this film is not at all for the faint of heart.
