Odisha CM Gives Rs 2 Lakh Each to 4 Workers Rescued from Uttarakhand's Silkyara Tunnel – News18

Raju Nayak, Dhiren Nayak, Bisheshwar Nayak from Mayurbhanj and Bhagban Bhatra from Nabarangpur and their family members met the Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik at his residence
Odisha chief minister Naveen Patnaik on Friday gave away Rs 2 lakh financial aid to each of the four Odia workers rescued from the collapsed Silkyara tunnel in Uttarakhand. After reaching Bhubaneswar, the workers met Patnaik at his residence.
Raju Nayak, Dhiren Nayak, Bisheshwar Nayak from Mayurbhanj and Bhagban Bhatra from Nabarangpur were present with their family members. Patnaik congratulated them and inquired about their health condition. The workers also thanked the CM for his sympathy.
They all narrated the ordeal inside the tunnel and, describing them as real heroes, the CM said the way they fought for their lives is truly inspiring.
Labour minister Sarada Prasad Nayak was present during the meeting. He had camped in Uttarakhand to monitor the rescue operation and returned to the state with the workers. Among others, the labour commissioner was also present.
