It is alleged that he has promoted a trading app in a chat show. However, now as the controversy has escalated, Kriti has termed these news as fake and has said that she will take legal action against those spreading fake news. Kriti says that such news is being spread with the aim of tarnishing her image and defaming her.

On December 3, Kriti called these news fake from her Instagram account. Along with sharing screenshots of some media articles, he has also made it clear that all the news promoting trading apps are wrong.

Issued an official statement and said that legal action would be taken

Along with giving clarification on social media, Kriti has also issued an official statement expressing her displeasure over such news. He has written, Many such misinformed articles are continuously appearing in which it is being written that I have promoted a trading platform in Koffee with Karan. Those articles are completely fake and wrong and are being published dishonestly and with wrong intentions.

He further said, Such articles are making false claims linking me to a trading platform with the intention of defamatory. I have never said anything related to trading platforms in any way on any show.

Kriti took legal action

Talking about taking legal action against those spreading fake news, Kriti wrote, I have taken legal action against those spreading such news and issued a legal notice to them. I request all of you to avoid such fake, incorrect and defamatory news.
