Ranbir's Animal joins global Rs 400 crore club: Earns Rs 39.9 crore on first Monday at Indian BO, breaks Jawan's record

Ranbir Kapoor has hit the jackpot in the name of the film Animal. This film, which was released on Friday, has joined the Rs 400 crore club globally in just four days.
The film collected Rs 39 crore 90 lakh on its first Monday across the country. With this, the film's collection at the Indian box office has reached Rs 241 crore.
The overall occupancy of the Hindi version of the film on Monday was 48.92%.
Jawan's record broken in case of first Monday collection
The film has also broken the record of Shahrukh Khan's hit film Jawan by collecting Rs 39.9 crore on the first Monday. 'Jawaan' had earned Rs 32 crore on its first Monday. Shahrukh Khan starrer this film is the highest grossing film of this year. Its worldwide collection is Rs 1100 crore.

Pathan's record has been broken in first weekend collection
Earlier on Sunday, Ranbir Kapoor's film had set a new record at the box office by collecting Rs 75 crore on the third day. In just 3 days on the first weekend, the film has earned more than Rs 356 crore worldwide. With this, the film has broken the record of Pathan, the second biggest film of the year in terms of weekend collection.
