Junior Mahmood dies at the age of 67: Was battling stomach cancer for a long time, worked in more than 250 films.

Bollywood actor Naeem Syed, popularly known as Junior Mehmood, died in Mumbai at 2 am last night. He was suffering from stomach cancer for a long time. Junior Mahmood was not well for the last few days. According to the report, the actor died at his home. Mehmood's death was confirmed by one of his family friends, Salam Qazi. The last journey of the actor will be taken out from his Mumbai home at 12 noon today.
Let us tell you, Junior Mehmood had worked in many famous films including 'Haathi Mere Sathi', 'Caravan' and 'Mera Naam Joker'.
The actor was suffering from cancer
Junior Mahmood was suffering from stage four stomach cancer for a long time. His illness was being treated at Tata Memorial Hospital located in Mumbai. His condition started worsening in the last 2 months. Even his weight had reduced considerably. According to the medical report, the cancer had also spread to his liver and lungs. A tumor had also formed in the stomach intestine. Eventually he also developed jaundice. In such a situation, Mahmood's condition was not getting better and he was also given oxygen support. But, the actor's health kept deteriorating and finally he breathed his last last night.
Jeetendra and Johnny Lever came to meet Mahmood
A few days ago, Johnny Lever went to meet Mehmood at his Mumbai home. Jeetendra and Sachin Pilgaonkar also reached his house and inquired about the well-being of the actor.
Junior Mehmood worked in many hit films including Kati Patang, Mera Naam Joker, Parvarish and Do Aur Do Paanch. He started his career as a child artist with the film 'Naunihaal' released in 1967. After which he worked in more than 250 films.
