Malayalam actor Asif Ali and director Jis Joy have collaborated again for their upcoming venture, Thalavan. Earlier, they were seen in successful ventures like Sunday Holiday (2017), Vijay Superum Pournamiyum (2019), and Innale Vare (2021). The film also stars Biju Menon in the lead role. Earlier, Asif Ali and Biju Menon also shared screen space in Ordinary and Anuraga Karikkin Vellam.

Their upcoming movie, Thalavan, has been making headlines for a long time. Recently, the makers shared a new update for the viewers. They have dropped the title motion poster for the movie, which is currently garnering everyone’s attention.

The title motion poster for Thalavan gives the impression that the movie is a police thriller. Both protagonists are in police uniforms. The motion poster has been shared by Asif Ali on his official Facebook handle. Sharing the poster, the actor wrote, “You are in battle forever with the one who is as strong as you! I am presenting to you the title motion poster for Thalavan. A Jis Joy Movie!”

Seeing the poster, fans showered red heart emojis in the comment box.

Thalavan is said to be an investigative thriller, and it will also star Dileesh Pothen in a pivotal role. While Anushree and Miya are playing the female leads.

The movie also features Reenu Mathews, Dileesh Pothan, Shankar Ramakrishnan, Anusree, Kottayam Nazeer, Dinesh, and Nandan Unni in the supporting roles. The film is set in rural Malabar.

Thalavan is produced jointly by Arun Narayan and Sijo Sebastian under the banner of Arun Narayan Productions, in association with London Studios. The script for the film is penned by Sharath Perumbavoor and Anand Thevarakkattu, while Sharan Velayudhan handles the cinematography and Sooraj E. S. is the editor. While the music for the film is composed by Deepak Dev.

However, reports suggest that Asif Ali is currently on a three-month rest after suffering an injury during the shoot of Tiki Taka, directed by Rohit VS.

On the other hand, Biju Menon has recently completed shooting for debutant Riyas Shereef’s Thundu. Maradona-fame Vishnu Narayan’s Nadanna Sambhavam and Meppadiyan director Vishnu Mohan’s Kadha Innuvare are his other upcoming films.
