Maggi noodles is undoubtedly one of the most famous instant food in India. It is enjoyed for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or simply as a 2 am snack by people across India. Over the years, these easy-to-make noodles have undergone many experiments. While some of these experimentations have worked, such as Cheese Maggi, others have been a fail, for instance, Fanta Maggi. Despite Maggi noodles being traditionally prepared as a spicy dish, people have ventured into giving them a sweeter twist. Now a video of one such sweet version of Maggi is creating a buzz on X.

The 10-second time-lapse video shows, a person putting a stack of Maggi noodles in a pan and then adding a sachet of what appears to be Cadbury Gems, a type of sugar-coated chocolate buttons, over it. The person then adds a cup of milk to this mix and cooks the noodles with milk and melted sugar-coated chocolate. The video posted online on December 8, has so far racked up over one lakh likes. The clip was playfully captioned, “new maggi recipe has just launched. Enjoy.”

Commenting on it, an X user wrote, “Why you hate Maggi so much.” Another person wrote, “Video should titled ‘How to make MAGGI MILKSHAKE’”. An X user exaggeratedly wrote, “I truly believe we are at that stage where we need to pray for an asteroid strike before all this goes any further. We have truly outlived our existence on this planet.”

Interestingly a person wrote, “In the Eighties, Maggi did indeed come out with a Chocolate variant. I remember sample packets being handed out in school. It did not have a long run back then.” Expressing a favourable sentiment towards the above-mentioned dish, a person wrote, “I saw this in a dream once – chocolate noodles. Never tried it but it tasted good in the dream. This is close but i think some cocoa powder needs to be added while preparing the noodles itself, otherwise, it won’t be chocolatey enough.”

Earlier in October, another Maggi-related video surfaced that showed a person preparing a ‘Maggi burger’.

The cook turned prepared Maggi noodles into small flat circular shapes as if they were buns and then put pizza cause, cucumber, and an aaloo patty between these Maggi buns. The assembled product was ‘Maggi Burger’.
