Ayodhya Ram Mandir will be inaugurated on January 22, 2024.
Devotees entering the temple premises will have the opportunity to see Lord Ram Lalla from a distance of 320 feet.
The ground level of the grand Ram Mandir in Ayodhya is expected to be completed by the end of this year, with the temple scheduled for inauguration on January 22, 2024. The ceremony to install the Ram Lalla idol on the temple premises is set to be attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, attracting lakhs of Ram devotees to Ayodhya for the auspicious occasion. Here are some measures undertaken by the Ayodhya Ram Mandir committee in preparation for this special day.
Reports indicate that the Ram Mandir Trust is responsible for the arrangements surrounding the Ayodhya Ram Mandir Inauguration. Devotees entering the temple premises will have the opportunity to see Lord Ram Lalla from a distance of 320 feet. However, after darshan and worship, prasad will not be distributed to the devotees.
On this significant day, approximately two to two and a half lakh devotees are expected to have the darshan of Lord Rama. Not only will prasad be distributed within the temple, but arrangements are also made to distribute prasad at the park. Devotees will have access to visit Kuber Tila and the Yatri Facilitation Centre. Besides the Ram Mandir Trust, other organisations are also planning to distribute prasad among Ram devotees in honour of Lord Ram Lalla. During the inauguration, only the current priests serving Ram Lalla will perform the service and worship.
Dr Anil Mishra, a member of the Ram Mandir Trust, highlighted that the present priests will conduct the service and worship of Ramlala in the grand temple, emphasising that devotees will easily see the large form of God. A 51-inch statue will be installed in the Garbha Graha of the grand temple, and the throne for the Lord is nearly ready. After the darshan of Lord Rama, devotees will have the opportunity to receive prasad.
Special arrangements are in place to provide prasad to all Ram devotees on the inauguration day. Devotees will be organised into four rows for darshan, with one and a half to two and a half lakh people expected to witness Lord Rama in a day. Devotees will enter the Ram Mandir premises from the east, where the lion gate is situated, offering a view of the beautiful idol of the Lord. After darshan, devotees will exit from the left side, proceeding towards Kuber Tila and the Yatri Facilitation Centre.
Dr Anil Mishra also noted that on the day of consecration, worship and prayers will be conducted in monasteries and temples across the country, with prasad distributed as part of the celebration of Ram Lalla’s life consecration nationwide.
