Netizens React to This Little Batter's 'Magical' Skills Which Have Pakistan Batting Coach's Attention – News18

Pakistan’s batting coach Mohammad Yousuf has sent cricket fans into a frenzy with his latest post on X. He uploaded a video of a young kid hitting some really clean shots in the practice nets.

Donning a yellow T-shirt and a shiny white cap, the kid nailed some picture-perfect shots in all three directions of nets. The first shot was a straight hit right above the bowler’s head.

He quickly followed up with a powerful cover drive in the second ball before lifting one high towards mid-on. This earned the little one a lot of praise on the internet, sparking reactions from several fans.

One of the fans was seemingly impressed with the little one’s batting skills. He urged the Pakistani board to gather such talented kids and provide them with regular sessions. “There are many videos of young kids circulating on social media. PCB should gather them and start giving them sessions. As school cricket is almost over in Pakistan, these talents should not be wasted,” he said.

In one reply, a fan enquired about what was being done to recruit these talented players. “Yousaf Bhai, what about gathering these kinds of talented players in NCA and coaching them from this young age?” he asked.

Another fan believed that the skills were world-class because the former cricketer had said so. He wrote, “Yes…if legend says World Class, it should be world-class.”

“A star to be born soon,” wrote one of the fans.

An account talked about how clean the kid’s shots were. He said, “Some v good shots!”

Pakistan’s U-19 squad have already made the semi-finals of the ACC U-19 Asia Cup after overcoming Afghanistan by 83 runs. This sparked a reaction from Mohammad Yousuf who uploaded a post on X, congratulating the squad on their wonderful achievement. “Congratulations boys. Every one of you has [a] spark and everyone’s hard work has made this happen. Keep getting better and make Pakistan proud. #PAKvAFG”, Yousuf wrote in his post from December 12.

Just a day later, Mohammad Yousuf was spotted sharing the frame with the entire U-19 squad at the Half Desert in Dubai. He even uploaded a picture of the meet-up in a post on X that read, “Had a great time with the U-19 team at Half Desert Dubai. Loved spending time with the young blood of Pakistan. It was a dinner treat for the win 🙂 #PAKU19”.

Pakistan’s U-19 squad are currently playing the UAE in the semi-finals. A win would take them to the final of the tournament where they will play the victor of the clash between India and Bangladesh. The final will take place on December 17 at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.
