Prabhas starrer film 'Salaar' has been released recently. This film has crossed the Rs 400 crore mark at the global box office on the third day itself. Prithviraj Sukumaran, who was seen in the role of Vardha in the film, during an interview, answered the question about violence, blood and death being shown in the film. He said- If a director wants to shoot graphic violence for his story then he should have the freedom to do so.

Prithviraj defended the violence shown in the film
Prithviraj Sukumaran was very good in the role of 'Vardha' in the film. His acting was also praised. In such an interview, Prithviraj told that every film is certified by the Central Board of Film Certification. The organization decides who can watch the film. Our responsibility as a filmmaker is to ensure that we hand it over to the censor board. How we make the film should be left to us.

He further said- The audience was already informed about the certification of the film because it depicts violence, blood and deaths. There should be censorship in the exhibition sector so that an eye can be kept on who goes to the theater and who is able to watch the film. Being an actor, I have always believed that we should have the freedom to make what we want.

Regarding the violent scenes filmed in 'Salaar', Prithviraj says that violence in 'Salaar' is a major character in the plot of the film. This is also important for taking the story of the film forward. In such a situation, 'Saalar' is incomplete without violence.

What is the story of 'Saalar'
Like KGF, the story of Salaar also starts from a fantasy world. The life of Aadhya (Shruti Hassan), who has returned from America, is in danger. Aadhya runs away and hides in a woman's house. That woman is Deva i.e. Prabhas's mother. Deva saves him from those goons.

The story moves to the world of 'Khansar' in the second half. Khansar is a place where people live in a separate world. They do not consider themselves part of the country. They have their own army. Even the British kneel before him. After independence, there is king's rule there.

After the death of the king, the fight for the throne begins. Prithviraj has played the role of Vardha. He is one of the governors of the city and wants to become king. However when a coup is launched to overthrow him, Vardha seeks help from his old friend Deva (Prabhas).

The film is earning well
Directed by Prashant Neel, this film earned a total of Rs 178.7 crore on the first day. Out of which Rs 90 crore 70 lakh was collected from the Indian box office. The global collection of Salaar had reached Rs 295.7 crore in two days. Today i.e. on the third day the film has earned Rs 400 crore globally.
