Actor of Oscar winner film Parasite committed suicide: Lee Sun Kyun's body found in the car, was upset with the ongoing investigation in the drug case

Actor Lee Sun Kyun of the Oscar-winning film Parasite has passed away. The actor's body has been recovered from a car parked in Central Seoul Park in Seoul, South Korea. There are reports that the actor has committed suicide. Investigation was going on against him in the drug case for many days.

Actor's body found in car

According to South Korean media reports, Lee Sun Kyun was very upset for the last several days. He had left the house on the morning of 27th December, after some time the family members found a suicide note from the house itself. The family immediately informed the police about this. During investigation, police found the actor's car parked in a central Seoul park. When I went near, Lee Sun Kyun was lying unconscious in the car. He was dead before the police arrived. The actor's body was found not in the driving seat but in the passenger seat.

Investigation was going on in the drug case

According to the police after receiving the suicide note and initial investigation, actor Lee Sun Kyun has committed suicide. The actor's name was implicated in a drug case. Lee Sun Kyun was very upset after being named in the drug case. Police also believe that the actor may have committed suicide after being troubled by the drug case.

Actor Lee Sun Kyun has been a part of Korean cinema since 2001. He is known for the 2019 film Parasite. The film received the Oscar Award for Best Foreign Language. Apart from Parasite, Lee Sun Kyun has been a part of great films like Pasta, Golden Times and My Mister.
